From July 13rd to 19th, parts of students of class of 2015 & 2016 of the College went to Shanglin County to do three-dimension social practice (a program under which officials, doctors, scientist and college students go to the countryside to spread scientific and literacy knowledge and offer medical service to farmers) and investigated the integration and development of the local ethnic culture and tourism.
The survey focused on Xia Shuiyuan Village of Shanglin County. The team of the survey interviewed the local people about the characteristics of the tourism culture. Meanwhile they visited the Zhuang ancestral museum and Cultural Affairs Bureau of Shanglin to learn how the local tourism integrated with the customs, history and culture; communicated with teachers and students of Ethnic Experimental Primary School on the inheritance of the culture; and experienced other country tourism projects, finding the connection between the culture and the tourism, the characteristics and the shortage, and exploring the ways of developing the country tourism.
The team did a lot of preparation for the survey, and they had definite objectives and specific division, united and cooperated, and finished the work successfully.
It was known that through the investigation, the team got plentiful of firsthand material for the research on the integration and development of the ethnic culture and tourism of the countryside. According to the material, the team would write a report which would provide reference for the development of the country tourism.
